Terms of Services
TIMINGS
» Is there a time limit for dine in?
We operate a maximum 2 hour seating policy. During our busy sessions (generally Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays and special occasions such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s day) this may be reduced to 1 hour 30 minutes at the restaurant manager’s discretion.
» When are the dishes removed from the counters?
The staff will begin to remove the remaining dishes 15 minutes prior to closing. Please therefore ensure that you have chosen all your dishes prior to this time.
CHILDREN
» What is the height limit for children?
Children under 120cm in height will be charged half price. There is a height guide in the restaurant to confirm that the guest is entitled to the discount rate. The Manager’s decision will be final.
» Is there a minimum charge for infants?
We define infants as those children under the age of 3 years. Babies and infants that are not eating within our restaurant will not be charged. However, there is a small minimum charge for kids between three and five years dining at the restaurant (whether just a small amount from your plate or from their own individual plate). We are unable to provide baby food and unable to heat baby food or milk bottles.
» Can children dine on their own in the restaurant?
Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (aged 18 and above) when dining at Brown Rice in accordance with the Alcohol Licensing Act 2003.
SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
» I have an allergy, what should I do?
Please inform our staff and we will guide you through our dishes. Ingredients used in the dishes can be manufactured in factories which handle other allergens. For this reason, and due to the very nature of our business, allergen traces may be present in the dishes.
» I am a vegan / vegetarian, do you offer dishes suitable for me?
If you’re vegan or vegetarian we offer a range of vegetarian dishes.
» Do you serve Halal meat?
We are not a halal restaurant and we do not hold a halal certification. However, some of our dishes are made with halal meat. Please check with our staff to specified.
